Kenneth M. WEISSBERG, born in Paris, is a dual citizen of France and of the United States. He was called to the Bar of Paris in 1979, and has practiced ever since as an Attorney, especialy in International Business Law.

Mr. WEISSBERG began his practice as an Associate Attorney with the reputed Paris law firm GIDE LOYRETTE NOUEL, in the Department of Foreign Investments in France, Corporations and Bankruptcies. Responsible for Canadian investments in France and litigation for North American companies in France, Maître Weissberg led the firm's international development policy for nine years, first in the United States with the opening of an office in New York, working mainly on insurance company litigation, then in Europe with the creation of organic links and the installation in his own premises in Paris of a firm of Solicitors, known in the reinsurance field.

In 1991, Mr. WEISSBERG started a professional corporation geared towards a European and a North American clientele. Mr. WEISSBERG has applied all his efforts to the international development of the firm, which has today offices in Paris, Miami, Beyrouth, as well as a world wide network of correspondant and covers the full spectrum of legal services available in the international field.

Mr. WEISSBERG holds a “Maîtrise de Droit Privé” of the University of Nice (France) and a Master of International Law of New York University. He is admitted to the Bar of New York as a Legal Consultant since 1986, and to the Bar of Florida since 2000 as a Foreign Legal Consultant.

From 1998 to 2013, Maître Weissberg was French Foreign Trade Advisor. He was appointed Counselor to the National Board of Foreign Trade by the French Government (Conseiller du Commerce Extérieur de la France) from 1998 until 2013.

Mr. WEISSBERG has assisted French companies in their outbound activities: namely, Crédit Agricole, Crédit Chimique, (banks), CFCE (French Government), Daher (logistics), GIAT (military equipment) Héli-Union (aviation), Renault (automobile), Sollac (steel).

Mr. WEISSBERG is known for his expertise in complex international litigation and arbitration including industrial plants breakdowns, white collar and corporate fraud, international bankruptcies, in aviation matters covering arbitration between airline companies, recovery and seizure of aircraft, sale and leasing of aircraft, disputes for collection of damages in air –crashes and in arbitration of disputes with the United Nations about the implementation of public tenders.

Audrey Weissberg

Franco American, Audrey Weissberg is a member of the Paris Bar and the Quebec Bar.

She is a graduate of the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas (Maîtrise de droit privé général, D.E.A. en Droits de Common Law), the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne (Master 2 de Droit et Administration de l'Audiovisuel) and New York University School of Law (LL.M in Trade Regulation).

After working for several years in the litigation and arbitration department of the English law firm Norton Rose LLP in Paris, then in the intangible property law department of the law firm FTPA, she joined WEISSBERG in 2013 as a partner.

She specializes in international business matters, in particular commercial law, intellectual and industrial property law, and audiovisual law.

She also specializes in international estate planning and inheritance cross-border litigation.

Juan Rodriguez

Professional experience

Juan’s practice focuses primarily on international complex fraud litigation. In most cases, the matters involve multiple jurisdictions and parallel proceedings.

For over 20 years, Juan has led international litigation cases involving shareholder disputes and international fraud, with a focus on recuperating assets that have been fraudulently misappropriated. Juan specializes in obtaining pre-judgment remedies for the recovery of assets, efforts he has led in various jurisdictions around the world including Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, Panama, Spain, Andorra, and the United States. These efforts have involved the tracing of assets following internal corporate investigations. Juan has also led international commercial arbitration matters where he has obtained interim relief orders and has represented clients in subsequent proceedings to confirm arbitral awards. Recently, Juan has also acted as an arbiter in an international shareholder dispute administered by the ICDR.

He often represents, as trial counsel, clients of national repute, litigating in areas such as RICO, anti-trust, including monopolization and price-fixing claims, franchisee rights, copyright and trademark infringement. More recently, Juan has acted as outside general counsel for a multinational corporation whose business model concentrates in the agricultural and hospitality industries throughout Central and South America.
