Jérôme Tassi

Professional experience

Jérôme TASSI has been working as an Attorney at the Paris Bar since 2007. He holds the IP specialist certificate from the French National Bar Council. He intervenes in both counseling and litigation in regard with all IP rights and in particular in patent litigation. He worked for 10 years in the litigation department of a well-known IP boutique firm.

Jérôme is also a lecturer in IP Law at the famous engineering school Ecole Centrale Paris , at University of Paris II and for professional associations.

He is the author or co-author of numerous intellectual property publications, including:
✓ A handbook on “saisie-contrefaçon” (ie orders to preserve evidence) and reports to prove IP infringement (published by Lexisnexis in 2015)
✓ Guidelines on “Employees’ creations” and “Employees’ inventions litigation” (published by Lexis360)
✓ The French chapter of “Employees’ Intellectual Property Rights - AIPPI Law series” (published by Kluwer Law International in 2016)

In recent years, he worked on several patent infringement litigation in the field of telecommunication (MP3 standard, Electronic Program Guide) and mechanics.
