Professional career
Attorney Polier, a US citizen, has lived in Paris since 1988. He has been a member of the Paris Bar since 1991 while remaining a member of the New York Bar where he was admitted in 1971. He is “of Counsel” to the Paris law firm of Weisberg Law Firm (SELARL Weissberg). Attorney Polier also continues to be a member of the Bar of the State of Connecticut where he was admitted in 1974.

The Paris office of Attorney Polier is located in the center of Paris next to the French National Assembly and near the Place de la Concorde.

When it appears to be in the best interest of his clients, it is Attorney Polier's practice to call at times upon one of his colleagues and / or upon another attorney having a specialty (eg international tax or international trademark law) and also upon a French accountant (CPA), an advisor in insurance matters, a Notary (not to be confused with an American notary public), a Bailiff, etc.

Professional career prior to moving to Paris 1988

Prior to moving to Paris 1988, Mr. Polier was Vice-President and General Counsel of Group W Cable in New York, a Westinghouse Electric Corporation affiliate which was sold in 1987 for $ 1.7 billion.

Prior to that time, Mr. Polier was the Vice-President and General Counsel of Tribune Cable Corporation after filling the same position at Ansor Corporation, a multi-national conglomerate with activities in the Philippines, Hong Kong, Spain, France and England.

Mr. Polier began his career in 1970 at Sullivan & Cromwell in New York where he was an associate responsible for national and multinational corporate matters, including corporate finance.
