1. Dispute resolution <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

CETA puts in place simplified and organized dispute resolution mechanisms such as voluntary mediation, investment arbitration and expedited arbitration for urgent situations.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The agreement aims to promote the transparency, efficiency and speed of resolution procedures through innovative mechanisms such as the development of custom dispute resolution procedures for certain sectors (such as labor, the environment, services and taxes).\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Monitoring <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Several committees and sub-committees are set up to oversee and facilitate the implementation and application of the Agreement, as well as to promote dialogue between the Parties on all CETA subjects.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Transparency provisions have also been drafted to ensure that each Party will have access to information (such as laws and regulations) that could affect the operationality of the Agreement.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
