1. Dispute Settlements <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

CETA sets forth organized and simplified dispute settlement mechanisms such as voluntary\nmediation, investor-state arbitration and accelerated arbitration in urgent matters.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The agreement is meant to promote transparency, efficiency and promptness of resolution procedures through innovative processes, such as customized dispute settlement procedures for certain sectors (such as labour, environment, financial services and taxation). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Supervision <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Various committees and sub-committees are installed to oversee and facilitate the\nimplementation and application of the Agreement, as well as to encourage dialogue between\nthe Parties on all subject matters of CETA.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Transparency provisions are also drafted to ensure that each Party has access to\ninformation (such as laws and regulations) that may affect the operation of the Agreement.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
